My favorite song by one of the greatest bands ever, The End by The Doors, live at the Hollywood
Bowl (Part I)

Movies...a motion picture shown in a theater for peoples enjoyment...
Music...the art of organizing tones to produce and unify continuous compositions...
Entertainment...the pleasure afforded by being entertained; amusement..
Drive-Ins had to keep patrons somewhat entertained during intermission. Short video clips featuring goodies
from the snack bar was the way to do that. Most of the time, there was a countdown clock to inform you how much time was left
before the movie restarted. Click on the image above to see some of those ads.

theaters during in the 1950's, before the main film, during intermission.

It doesn't matter what category of music you like whether it is jazz,
modern rock, techno, electronica, rap, R&B, soul, bluegrass, country, opera, classical, children's or spiritual music
shares one common similarity. Bringing people together.
Below I have listed some links I hope you will find amusing. They
range from cartoons, music videos, animated shorts and some just unusual.
Induldge.
Songfacts - This site is chock full of fun, general
knowledge for every music fanatic. The site offers song meanings and song information, including album and chart position,
music trivia (where you can win a shirt), music videos and lyrics.
Patrick Moore Plays the Xylophone - This cute little animation shows
astronomer, Patrick Moore, playing a xylophone in space and jamming with some cosmic, dancing aliens.
Grocery Store Wars - This is a hilarious Star Wars spoof featuring The
Organic Rebellion and its "conventional" agriculture on the run in this intergalactic parody set "not long ago in a supermarket
not so far away". Starring an all edible cast of Cuke Skywalker, Ham Solo, Princess Lettuce, Obi Wan Cannoli, C3-Peanuts,
Tofu-D2 and Chewbroccoli fight Darth Tader and The Dark Side of the Farm for control of the supermarket.
Tim Burton Collective - If you are a Tim Burton fan, like me, you will definitely
want to check out this comprehensive and popular fan website dedicated to the filmmaker. They have a forum, a links page,
articles and updated project news about the director including his collaborations with Johnny Depp.
In Deppth -
As I am with Tim Burton, I am a huge Johnny Depp
fan. If you are too, this site is for you. This website offers you the bare facts about your favorite actor, interesting and
unique articles, greatest pictures, fresh news and recent collaborations with Tim Burton.
Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings - This
cartoon was a popular book that became an animated series that often ran on The Captain Kangaroo Show in the 1970's. It also
inspired a skit on SNL featuring Mike Myers as Simon, a British kid that sat in the bathtub and did drawings. Click here to
listen to the shows theme.
The Dildo Song - Now there are three
versions to this parody song taken from the classic Slinky commercials. Don't be afraid to sing along! Not for children to
view.
Mastercard Spoof - Remember those
"priceless" Mastercard commercials? Well, you will love this spoof featuring two teenagers returning to the girls home, from
a night out, and a boy hoping to get lucky.
Move Your Feet - A cute video about a squirrel and
his adventures throughout the song. This video is pretty cool due to the fact it was done in the style of the old Atari video
game graphics.
Weapon of Choice - Excellent
recreated version of Fatboy Slims video, done with stick figure animation.
Weapon of Choice - The original, Fatboy
Slim live video featuring the awesome, Christopher Walken. There are many different viewing options for all video players.
Tony-vs-Paul - This has also been titled the
best stop motion movie so far. It is a stop
motion battle between two friends turned enemies.
Lunchroom Manners - This 1950's
educational, classroom video was made to teach children proper manners in the cafeteria by using an ill-mannered puppet named,
Mr. Bungle. One member of the class goes to lunch and remembers proper lunchroom manners. While Mr Bungle is portrayed as
a bad guy, it's clear that everybody wants to be like him, but not Freddie. This video was popularized on the 1981 HBO special
"The Pee-wee Herman Show".
Do you believe in ghosts? I do. I love the Sci-fi channels'show, Ghost
Hunters . Click on the ghost above to take you to their website to learn more about the cast, buy
merchandise and show schedules.
